Money Stack makes assumptions visible

The project turns rates, time, contributions, and costs into a transparent month-by-month illustration.

What the calculator does

For each month, a contribution is added first, interest is calculated from the resulting balance, and expenses are then applied. In compound mode interest remains in the balance. In withdrawal mode it is shown as cash flow and only an expense above that interest reduces principal.

What it does not do

It does not predict market returns, changing rates, inflation, taxes, defaults, liquidity restrictions, or product-specific terms. Results are deterministic illustrations, not promises.

Privacy

Scenario settings stay in your browser local storage. The calculator does not ask for an account, name, bank login, or transaction history.

Editorial process

Articles are written by the Money Stack Editorial Team. Formulas are checked against the same calculation engine used by the tool; factual claims link to primary sources. Material changes update the modification date. We do not invent author credentials or publish individualized recommendations.
